While Josh and I were down in Costa Rica photographing Reese & Tefy’s wedding, we were able to reconnect with some of Josh’s college friends who are in language school in San Jose. The Grahams are working in Latin America with an organization called EMI (Engineering Ministries International), and will be in Costa Rica for several years. We ended up spending some time with them the day after the wedding, and also a few days at the end of our trip. It was such a blast to spend time with them and hang out with their kiddos! Long story short, we ended up going out one of those days to do some family photos, and thought we’d share some with you all on here!

Cheers,

Kathy & Josh

At the very tail-end of fall we had the opportunity to photograph one of the most beautiful little girls and her family. We had a great time with the Rowe’s, and Hannah was such a good sport about traipsing around and having her picture taken. Check out this post and see if she is not one of the cutest little girls you’ve ever seen!

Highlights:
|1| Hannah’s huge smile and unbelievably long eyelashes!
|2| The last of the Montana fall colors….

Spring has sprung, and we had some great budding colors to photograph with this family in.

Jeff & AnnMarie (Jeff is one of the pastors at Gallatin Valley Presbyterian Church) asked us to do their photos last fall so we could get some of the awesome fall colors in their backyard but Summer went straight to Winter so we postponed it to the Spring. Spring hasn’t fared that much better but we were finally able to get out yesterday. It really was a great day for photography and it really was nice to have such beautiful people and fun kids. Drop them a note in the comments if you want.

May 1st my Grandma, Olive Lockie turned 96 and to celebrate all of my aunts and uncles gathered in Billings. It had been some time since the family had taken formal portraits so I grabbed all my gear and we had an incredible time. Feel free to leave a comment on the goofiest person!

We had a BBQ up at Josh’s family’s cabin with quite a few people from our church…tons of fun!

Kathy & I had our Bible study and some other friends of ours from church up to the cabin this past weekend. Aside from someone locking us all into the forest service road, we all had a great time, especially the kids. Who doesn’t love S’mores though. Let us know what you think.

My cousin Cristae called a few weeks ago about getting some headshots for an acting school in Los Angeles so I went down last weekend and we set up a mini studio in their basement and even my Gramma got into the fun!

Sometime this past year I was working at Mountain Arts Pottery & The Coffee Pot when I handed out a business card to one of my parents most loyal customers. Well she gave me a call a few weeks back saying her family would be in town over Christmas and wondered if we could do some family photos. We had a lot of fun as you can tell but I just love photographing beautiful people. Their house is just amazing but of course that’s what you get when Lacoti designs it and it’s built by Schlauch Bottcher Construction.
